I just watched Stolen Earth and it wasn't ripped apart too badly. I thought that they kept the balance between the characters about the same as the orginal and a lot of the little moments I remembered were still in this version. I'm glad we knew to avoid the promo which, I'm told, gives everything away since Jay mostly unspoiled.

We watched Turn Left tonight and Jay liked this one quite a bit. If he didn't like this one, I was going to wonder about his taste. More explosions and a bigger cast made him happy. Today I was thinking about Doctor Who and how I would order the episodes of season 4 from most to least favorite. My favorite of the season is very clear and so is my least favorite, however the middle is more difficult. There were no episodes of this season that I hated or even disliked.
